Junior Officer Leadership Program | GE HealthCare

The Tone:
This is a full-time leadership development program at GE HealthCare, located in the United States. GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator that improves lives in moments that matter. This program is designed to acclimate outgoing military officers to corporate life and to develop a future funnel of leaders within the GE HealthCare business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotations: Complete three distinct eight-month rotations across various parts of the GE HealthCare business, with specific job responsibilities defined for each.
• Development: Attend up to two GE HealthCare JOLP seminars and complete all required finance and other functional skills training.
• Program Completion: Fulfill all administrative requirements necessary for graduation from the Junior Officer Leadership Program.
• Quality Compliance: Maintain awareness of and comply with the GE HealthCare Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Goals, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns, taking immediate corrective action as required.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree. Commissioned Military Officer with a minimum of four years as a commissioned officer, holding an Honorable Discharge upon completion of military obligations. Enlisted members of certain Special Warfare groups may be considered.
• Experience: Maximum of 1.5 years of separation from active duty; this requirement is waivable if pursuing higher education.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Demonstrated effective interpersonal relationships, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, using English.
• Bonus: An engineering degree is preferred, with degrees in Finance, Business, or HR also considered. A proven record of success throughout a military career, outstanding communication skills, and a quick adaptability to new roles are desired. Demonstrated leadership, maturity, accountability, problem-solving ability, and integrity are also valued.
