The GL Staff Accountant plays a critical role in delivering a high-quality, timely, and well-controlled financial close, ensuring the integrity of Rokt’s consolidated financial statements under US GAAP as the company scales.

• Pay: $121000–$136000 yearly
• Team: This position is integral to the Accounting team.
• Mission: This role supports the integrity of Rokt’s consolidated financial statements under US GAAP and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial records for a growing global technology company.
• Tech Stack: NetSuite, FloQast, Zip, Ramp, Excel/Google Sheets

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close processes.
• Maintain: SOX-ready documentation and support internal and external audit requests.
• Streamline: Utilize NetSuite and integrated tools (e.g., FloQast, Zip, Ramp) to improve GL and close processes.
• Identify: Opportunities to automate manual reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting; partner with Finance Systems & Automation teams to implement solutions.
• Contribute: To projects that enhance the scalability, speed, and accuracy of the monthly close process and global accounting operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. This role supports the Accounting team’s month-end process for a global technology company focused on achieving public-company readiness, contributing to accurate financial reporting under US GAAP.
• Experience: 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for backgrounds in public companies, technology firms, or high-growth environments. Candidates should have practical experience preparing journal entries and performing reconciliations.
• Skills: A strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles is required. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is essential, alongside strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to consistently meet deadlines.
• Bonus: CPA certification or being on the CPA track is highly valued. Prior experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is also preferred, providing a distinct advantage.
