What You’ll Actually Do
• Departmental Support: Supports the Department Head in leading Global Markets Operations, providing strategic and operational oversight, and acting as deputy for leadership continuity and staff supervision.
• Operational Oversight: Oversees end-to-end operations, including risk management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to policies and controls, aligning resources with business and Front Office objectives.
• Efficiency and Controls Improvement: Leads initiatives for automation, streamlining, and cost optimization to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and deliver measurable productivity benefits.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Leads engagement with Front Office, internal partners, clients, and service providers, overseeing service delivery, issue resolution, and reporting across Treasury products.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensures compliance of transactions, records, and reports with bank and regulatory requirements, leading risk and control governance, issue remediation, and audit actions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Four-year degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with demonstrated supervisory or leadership responsibility.
• Experience: At least 7-10 years of relevant Treasury or Global Markets Operations experience, coupled with strong product knowledge.
• Skills: Extensive Treasury Operations knowledge across Derivatives, Bonds, Money Market, FX, confirmations, and settlements; strong knowledge of Treasury Accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, risk, compliance, controls, and audit governance; proven leadership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
