• Mission: Develop future commercial leaders by providing broad exposure across Covestro’s businesses and functional areas through structured rotations and project work.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate through various business units such as Engineering Plastics, Performance Materials, Tailored Urethanes, Specialty Films, Elastomers, Thermoplastic Polyurethanes, or Coatings & Adhesives.
• Participate in rotations within functional areas including Controlling, Supply Chain, and Procurement to gain comprehensive operational insights.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of critical commercial functions like Sales, Field Market Development, Industrial Management, and Product Management.
• Complete dedicated project work within functional areas such as Sales, Field Market Development, Industrial Management, and Product Management.
• Work closely with experienced professionals, seeking career advice from mentors and continuously striving to learn.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, financial discipline, chemistry, or engineering with a desire to pursue a commercial-oriented career. This is an entry-level position for new college graduates.
• Experience: No specific prior experience required.
• Skills: Proficiency in computer software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; excellent communication, listening, project planning, and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information accurately; proven experience in achieving results by working in a team environment; established leadership skills through involvement in extracurricular or community activities.
• Bonus: Previous experience at Covestro; Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering major preferred; Chemistry major preferred; willingness to relocate and/or travel across the US depending on future assignments; embodies Covestro’s values of curiosity, courage, and colorfulness.
