What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Payments: Efficiently process customer payments and meticulously verify transaction details for accuracy.
• Reconcile Records: Accurately reconcile payment records with internal accounting systems to ensure financial consistency.
• Respond to Inquiries: Respond to payment-related inquiries with clear and professional communication to both customers and internal teams.
• Identify & Escalate Issues: Track payment trends, identify any discrepancies, and escalate complex issues when necessary to appropriate channels.
• Support Compliance Reporting: Contribute to reporting efforts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable financial regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates should possess strong payment card processing skills, including familiarity with various payment gateways and thorough transaction verification processes. This is coupled with basic accounting knowledge to effectively reconcile payments, manage ledgers, and support robust financial controls.
• Experience: Experience with financial or payment processing systems is preferred. Additionally, prior work within technology or e-commerce environments is considered a valuable asset.
• Skills: Strong payment card processing, analytical skills to review data and identify inconsistencies, clear and professional communication, basic accounting knowledge for financial reconciliation, and effective customer service skills for handling payment inquiries. Attention to detail and a high level of integrity are also crucial.
• Bonus: A relevant diploma or degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is beneficial for this role.
