What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Document Support: Assist clients with effectively gathering and organizing their essential tax documents for submission.
• Client Interviewing: Conduct thorough client interviews to gain a complete understanding of their individual tax situations and needs.
• Tax Return Preparation: Prepare accurate and complete tax returns for clients utilizing specialized H&R Block software.
• Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service and ongoing support, addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
• Product and Service Explanation: Clearly explain available tax-related products and services, helping clients understand their options.
• Data Management and Accuracy: Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure accuracy when handling sensitive client information.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other office team members throughout the duration of the tax season to achieve shared goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. The role is particularly suited for current college students and recent graduates eager to begin their professional journey in finance or business.
• Experience: No prior tax preparation experience is required as comprehensive paid training will be provided. Applicants should demonstrate an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and detailed tax preparation processes.
