What You’ll Actually Do
• Close Management: Own monthly and annual close activities, ensuring accuracy across reconciliations and reporting deliverables.
• Strategic Partnership: Partner directly with business leaders to validate capital decisions and influence how spend gets tracked and approved.
• Financial Reporting: Build and refine dashboards and reporting tools that provide leadership with real visibility into financial trends.
• Audit Readiness: Lead audit readiness efforts, preparing documentation and disclosures that withstand both internal and external scrutiny.
• Process Improvement: Drive automation initiatives to cut manual effort and modernize legacy reporting processes across the accounting function.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level accounting professional with a focus on driving accuracy and compliance in a SOX-controlled environment.
• Experience: Five or more years of progressive accounting experience in an audit-ready setting.
• Skills: Strong working knowledge of SAP and US GAAP, including depreciation, capitalization, and impairment principles, alongside advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data modeling).
• Bonus: CPA or CPA-eligible, experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools, and exposure to multiple ERP systems beyond SAP.
