Accounts Payable Clerk | D.R. Horton

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Enter invoices into the computer system and schedule them for payment, ensuring timely completion.
• Expense Management: Approve key expense statements and reimbursements for payment, maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
• Financial Reconciliation: Perform invoice reconciliation, research past-due invoices, and verify company property ownership for bills.
• Vendor Relations: Correspond with vendors to correct invoice discrepancies and oversee maintenance and vendor insurance and set-up.
• Record Keeping: Input permit account entries and make bank deposits.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience: Six months to one year of related experience and/or training in an administrative or financial support capacity.
• Skills: Strong time management and prioritization; ability to accurately process and record a large volume of numerical data; proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Bonus: Knowledge of general accounting functions; experience with payroll software and data entry.
