Director, Taft-Hartley Institutional Sales | Invesco

• Mission: This role leads institutional sales and client relationship management within the Taft-Hartley market for Invesco.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead business development and client relationship management for Taft-Hartley clients and prospects within an assigned territory.
• Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with trustees, investment committee members, plan professionals, and consultants across the Taft-Hartley ecosystem.
• Develop a clear understanding of each plan’s governance structure, decision-making process, funding status, and investment objectives.
• Prepare for and participate in board, trustee, consultant, and investment committee meetings, presenting investment capabilities and recommendations.
• Partner with internal teams to position investment solutions across public markets, private markets, fixed income, liquidity, and defined contribution offerings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level professional with a deep understanding of the Taft-Hartley market, multiemployer plan governance, fiduciary considerations, and institutional asset management.
• Experience: 10+ years of institutional sales, client service, consultant relations, or investment-related experience, preferably with direct exposure to the Taft-Hartley marketplace.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with institutional decision-makers; Strong understanding of multiemployer plan governance, board dynamics, and trustee communication needs; Knowledge of institutional asset management, plan sponsors, consultants, competitors, and investment strategy positioning; Ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, practical language for trustee audiences; FINRA Series 3, 7, 63, and 65, or ability to obtain required registrations within an agreed-upon timeframe.
• Bonus: CFA, CAIA, or demonstrated progress toward an investment-related designation preferred.
