Financial Reporting Intern | Otis Elevator Co.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Analyze financial data and conduct variance analysis collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Controls: Support internal controls by assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley testing and Corporate Financial Manual reviews and updates.
• Reporting: Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
• Efficiency: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Projects: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Entry-level career.
• Experience: No minimum years of experience required.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends and discrepancies in financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software, crucial for data analysis and report preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in financial analysis and documentation.
• Bonus: Prior internship or work experience in finance or operations.
