• Mission: Own accurate and timely billing for assigned customer segments, supporting revenue operations and financial close cycles.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Generate Invoices: Produce accurate customer invoices based on specific contract terms, client billing rules, and team deadlines.
• Support Close Cycles: Aid in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
• Ensure Compliance: Respond to audit requests and confirm that all billing files adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Improve Processes: Help maintain and enhance billing process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Build Relationships: Establish strong working relationships with Accounting, Sales, and Client Support, communicating status and issues clearly and promptly.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and billing experience.
• Experience: 1+ years of billing experience preferred, comfortable generating invoices from contracts, and reconciling complex billing issues.
• Skills: Strong Excel and analytical skills, clear communication, strong customer service orientation, and excellent time management with high attention to detail.
• Bonus: Looking for a stable, long-term individual-contributor role rather than a fast-track to management.
