What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile: Prepare and review various balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring financial accuracy.
• Journalize: Draft, review, and prepare journal entries to properly record financial transactions and adjustments in the general ledger.
• Account: Manage and maintain accurate records for fixed assets, including processing new acquisitions, disposals, and calculating depreciation.
• Track: Oversee aspects of inventory accounting, contributing to proper valuation and reporting of inventory balances.
• Monitor: Reconcile and manage cash accounts, ensuring that all cash movements are accurately recorded and balances are properly maintained.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An entry-level professional holding a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in accounting.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience specifically in an accounting environment or related financial roles.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations; proven capability in drafting and processing journal entries; foundational knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles; basic understanding of inventory accounting methodologies; proficiency in managing and reconciling cash accounts.
