STEP Associate – Tampa, FL | World Electric Supply
The Tone:
This is a 12-month rotational program for emerging professionals at World Electric, located in Tampa, FL. World Electric provides electrical products and services to contractors throughout Florida and Georgia, operating as part of the Sonepar group, the world’s #1 electrical distributor. This program allows individuals to invest in a brighter, more sustainable future by developing essential business skills and making a real difference for customers. It is designed to educate, train, and develop emerging professionals to establish their careers within a global leader.
The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in core rotations across warehouse/logistics, inside sales/counter, projects & quotations, and marketing/digital solutions.
• Gain: Acquire hands-on experience in every aspect of the business through on-the-job training, e-learning, and subject matter expert sessions.
• Immerse: Experience site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, and project management during residency trips.
• Collaborate: Engage in team-building activities with fellow emerging professionals and travel to different company locations to enhance business understanding.
• Present: Conclude the program by presenting on key strategic organizational initiatives to the Executive Leadership team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Skills: Excellent communication, time management, leadership, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills; possess an enthusiastic/self-starter attitude.
