The Tone:
This is a full-time, entry-level training role at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, primarily based at Reynolds University in Dayton, OH, during the initial training phase, with extensive travel. The company specializes in providing a comprehensive suite of products and services, including high-end software solutions, marketing services, printed business forms, and promotional products, all specifically tailored for the automotive industry. This position is vital for cultivating the next generation of Sales Professionals who will be responsible for selling these essential offerings and achieving sales quotas within an assigned territory.

• Mission: Successfully complete a 12-month sales training program to become a Sales Professional responsible for achieving sales quotas within the automotive industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Enroll in a structured 12-month sales training program that combines field-based and classroom instruction.
• Complete courses at Reynolds University covering dealership operations, various sales techniques, and negotiation skills.
• Work alongside an assigned Sales Mentor in the field, observing the sales process firsthand and assisting on client calls.
• Travel with customer service and installation teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products.
• Relocate to an assigned sales territory upon program completion to become a Sales Professional, achieving monthly and annual quotas by selling products and services to new and existing automotive industry customers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree; Entry-Level position.
• Experience: Ability to travel (with overnight hotel stays) 80-100% of the time during the training program; Willingness to relocate to an assigned territory after successful completion of the training program.
• Skills: Good time management skills; Ability to build strong customer relationships; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Possess a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
