Acceleration Into Financial Professional Program | Vanguard
The Tone:
This is a full-time, two-year rotational program at Vanguard, located in Malvern, PA (hybrid). • Mission: Help strengthen Vanguard’s future by deepening understanding of finance functions and making strategic decisions for investors.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotations: Immerse in three 8-month assignments across key corporate finance functions, with potential rotations in areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Fund Analysis & Operations, and Finance Technology.
• Development: Meet regularly with your department rotation manager, AFP Program Manager, and others to receive personalized coaching, guidance, and mentorship.
• Training: Participate in comprehensive training and development experiences designed to build your technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and soft skills, then apply these skills to deliver meaningful, strategic insights throughout your rotations.
• Networking: Cultivate relationships within a fast-growing network of dedicated professionals who are committed to doing what’s right for investors.
• Contribution: Collaborate with peers and contribute to departmental projects or strategic initiatives across finance functions, gaining exposure to real business impact.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor Degree (graduating college senior) or early career professional, with all majors considered and preferred majors in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, data analytics, or statistics.
• Experience: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team; adaptability with the ability to learn quickly and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
• Skills: Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills; professional presence and demeanor when working with colleagues and leadership; results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities.
• Bonus: Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher; passion for finance and an interest in enabling critical internal functions within an organization.
