DELTA | MO Accounting Internship – Summer 2027 | Reeves Construction Company

The Tone:
This is an internship at Delta Companies Inc., a division of Reeves Construction Company, which operates in Missouri and other states. Delta specializes in asphalt paving and road construction materials, maintaining a vertically integrated structure with numerous aggregate locations and asphalt plants. This role is crucial for providing students with first-hand exposure to industry operations, mentorship, and networking, supplementing their college education in business and accounting. Interns contribute to company goals by completing focused project work and applying classroom concepts to real-world business operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support the company’s safety culture, core values, vision, mission, and established policies.
• Collaborate directly with Regional Controllers and Staff Accountants on a full range of accounting functions.
• Conduct inventory transactions and physical measurements to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Analyze job costing and gain an understanding of internal controls within an industry setting.
• Partner with operations teams to identify and implement efficiency improvements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in a relevant Bachelor’s degree program such as Accounting or Finance. This is an Entry-Level internship.
• Experience: Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Skills: Effective communication, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and basic computer proficiency with MS Office Products.
