This Staff Accountant role is critical for ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of the company’s operations, managing core accounting functions, and supporting essential business processes that enable clients to thrive.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Record all bank transactions and diligently maintain general ledger entries.
• Prepare: Create and review accurate financial reports for internal and external use.
• Process: Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and correct processing.
• Reconcile: Perform thorough account reconciliations to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Support: Assist actively with month-end and year-end closings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, demonstrating foundational knowledge in core accounting practices.
• Experience: Proficiency in specific software tools such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, coupled with previous experience in accounting roles involving general ledger management, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Bonus: CPA certification is a plus.
