• Team: Country Desk team under the Customer Strategy & Analytics team (CSA), within the Global Corporate Banking Division for Asia
• Mission: Coordinate assigned APAC country coverage, develop client strategies, drive cross-border business opportunities, and ensure strategic alignment to maximize profitability and grow the Asian corporate banking portfolio.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Country Coordination: Act as the designated coordinator for assigned APAC countries, representing Relationship Managers and GCIB Country Heads from coverage countries at APAC Headquarters.
• Strategic Planning: Lead and support the development of Annual Account Plans for clients and actively engage in regional and country deal pipelines.
• Business Development: Coordinate with Product Offices and affiliate companies to capture cross-border transactions and ancillary business, maximizing profitability and expanding business opportunities for Asian local corporates, GSB, and FI clients.
• Deal Execution & Approval: Actively participate in Deal Screening Committees for coverage country deals, secure required business approvals, and follow up on agreed cross-sell targets, engaging with Credit Divisions to facilitate approvals.
• Business Growth & Efficiency: Support GCIB Country Heads in executing holistic business initiatives to drive growth, capture business development opportunities, and enhance platform efficiency, including involvement in strategic projects and client tiering initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree qualified with a strong understanding of corporate banking products and services, including proven experience in credit and/or relationship management within corporate and/or institutional banking.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate banking products and services, with demonstrated experience working across regional networks and a strong familiarity with the Asia-Pacific banking and corporate landscape.
• Skills: Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills; highly detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities; adaptable, resilient, and effective in a collaborative team environment; proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Prior experience handling credit for large, mid-market, and/or small corporates; experience in lending portfolio data consolidation and analysis; strong PC skills including Access.
