What You’ll Actually Do
• Owner Requisition Management: Process the monthly financial requests submitted by project owners, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
• Subcontractor Financial Oversight: Manage and process all subcontractor requisitions, verifying compliance with contract terms and conditions, including insurance and billing procedures.
• Project Budget Control: Implement and process necessary updates to project budgets, alongside executing cost transfers to maintain financial accuracy.
• Invoice Disbursement Selection: Carefully select and prepare invoices for inclusion in the weekly disbursement cycle, optimizing cash flow.
• Cash Position Monitoring: Continuously monitor and track the cash position of the project, providing critical financial insights to project leadership.
• Risk Program Assistance: Support the Corporate Risk Manager in the administration of the Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP).
• Project Financial Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers and Project Executives to address all facets of project accounting and administrative concerns.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant field, placing it at an early-career level.
• Experience: Candidates should have 0-3 years of related experience in financial or project accounting.
• Skills:
• Financial requisition and invoice processing: Expertise in processing complex monthly owner requisitions and subcontractor invoices, including selection for weekly disbursements.
• Contract terms and compliance verification: Ability to ensure strict adherence to contract terms and conditions for subcontractors, covering aspects like insurance and billing procedures.
• Budget management and cost transfer execution: Proficiency in updating project budgets and accurately processing cost transfers to reflect project changes and maintain financial integrity.
• Project cash flow monitoring: Skill in continuously tracking and monitoring the cash position of a project to support informed financial decision-making.
• Collaborative financial administration: Capability to work effectively with Project Managers and Project Executives on diverse project accounting and administrative issues, and assist in specialized programs like CCIP administration.
