Staff Accountant | CR3

The Tone:
This is a full-time Staff Accountant role for CR3, a growing international technology business, located remotely in North Carolina. This hands-on position is integral to a small, international finance team, offering the opportunity to own key accounting processes. The role requires working across multiple entities, currencies, and international markets to maintain precise financial operations.

• Team: Small, international finance team, working closely with the Accounting Manager.
• Mission: Maintain accurate financial records, manage bank reconciliations, and support the wider finance team across month-end, reporting, tax, and intercompany accounting.
• Tech Stack: NetSuite, QuickBooks, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Bank Management: Manage daily bank reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies, accurately applying payments and receipts and investigating discrepancies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation, preparing and posting journal entries, and performing account reconciliations.
• Close Processes: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, contributing to budgeting, financial analysis, and Fixed Asset register maintenance.
• Intercompany Operations: Record and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities utilizing NetSuite, resolving discrepancies with international finance teams.
• Compliance & Audits: Support VAT, GST, Sales Tax, and other tax compliance activities, assist with transfer pricing documentation, and provide assistance during financial and tax audits.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with strong knowledge of GAAP and fundamental financial reporting principles.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience within accounting or finance, including practical experience using accounting software such as NetSuite or QuickBooks.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, a hands-on and solutions-focused approach, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: Experience working within a multi-entity or multi-currency environment, prior experience in SaaS, technology, or another international business, specific NetSuite experience, or CPA/CMA certification.
