Sales Trainee | Red Bull Distribution Company

The Tone:
This is an early career training role at Red Bull Distribution Company, a provider of energy drinks and distribution services. This position is designed to prepare individuals for the Account Sales Manager role through a structured training program and hands-on experience. The role is crucial for supporting sales initiatives, ensuring product availability and freshness in stores, and maintaining strong customer relationships across all large and small format “off premise” stores.

• Mission: To prepare for the Account Sales Manager role while supporting sales initiatives and providing essential route coverage.

What You’ll Actually Do
• TRAINING: Participate successfully in the training program to become eligible to interview for open Account Sales Manager roles.
• BUSINESS ACUMEN: Understand the basics of Red Bull and Red Bull Distribution Company, building and protecting the brand through proper product rotation and brand flow, while establishing professional customer relationships.
• DAILY PREPARATION: Obtain all necessary tools, such as insights, displays, Point of Sale materials, and pricing information, to execute the daily sales plan effectively, communicating with ASMs/DSMs on priorities.
• IN ROUTE SUPPORT: Provide coverage for Account Sales Manager routes as needed, focusing on daily Key Performance Indicators related to sales, distributions, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandising.
• OFF ROUTE SUPPORT: Support the team through audits, blitz events, building of displays, and merchandising activities to effectively drive the sales business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Ability to understand and learn the basics of the Red Bull brand and products.
• Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid US Driver’s License, and be able to obtain a DOT Medical card.
• Skills: Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays, and effectively service customers in a safe, productive, and professional manner, with English language proficiency.
• Bonus: Experience in customer service and sales is a plus, and additional languages are an advantage.
