Accounts Payable Specialist | Draftomat
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Draftomat, located 100% remotely within the United States. Draftomat operates in areas including customer service, scheduling, gardening and landscape-related operations, order coordination, project support, and vendor administration. This position contributes directly to the operational efficiency of the company by ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key part in managing the flow of invoices, payments, and financial reconciliations that support daily business functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Record Transactions: Accurately record and review day-to-day financial transactions within the approved accounting system.
• Process Payments: Process all invoices, payments, receipts, expense records, and account activity, ensuring complete supporting documentation.
• Reconcile Balances: Reconcile bank, card, vendor, customer, or ledger balances and actively investigate any unexplained differences.
• Maintain Records: Organize financial files and support month-end close processes, account reviews, and audit preparations for the Draftomat team.
• Generate Reports: Prepare routine financial summaries, aging reports, reconciliations, and transaction reports to support customer scheduling and service operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate-level experience with an understanding of basic accounting, reconciliation, invoice, payment, and ledger concepts.
• Experience: Comfort and proficiency using spreadsheets and accounting or finance systems to manage financial data.
• Skills: Strong numerical accuracy, ability to identify financial discrepancies, maintain complete supporting documentation, professional communication for internal and external follow-up, and high discretion with confidential banking and financial information.
