What You’ll Actually Do
• Uphold Standards: Ensure adherence to and enforce prescribed ethics, safety, and environmental measures.
• Optimize Production: Apply engineering principles to assist in pit development, plant design, and improving production capacities.
• Operate & Maintain Equipment: Operate and maintain a variety of plant equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and heavy off-road machinery.
• Support Blasting Operations: Assist in the blasting process, including laying out drill patterns and loading shots.
• Develop Leadership & Quality: Conduct quality control tests, provide a high level of customer service, and offer leadership and direction to other employees.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: No prior full-time experience required; must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Skills: Ability to learn technical processes, high-level verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficient computer skills (MS Word and Excel).
• Bonus: Familiarity and knowledge of the mining and aggregates industry, or previous industry exposure or experience.
