New Graduate Customer Strategy & Operations | Candid Health
The Tone:
This is a full-time new graduate role at Candid Health, located in Denver, San Francisco, or New York, operating on a hybrid work model. Candid Health is an organization of approximately 200 people dedicated to fixing medical billing, one of the most broken and expensive parts of US healthcare, by building software backed by best-in-class data science and AI. This role is crucial because it embodies Candid’s unique “Valkyrie” model, empowering a single individual to own and deliver valuable customer outcomes from strategy down to the lowest tactical level. You will directly impact healthcare providers, helping them get paid faster with less effort, which ultimately improves patient access to care.

• Mission: Own and deliver valuable outcomes with and for customers by integrating across all functions, from strategic direction to tactical execution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Account Ownership: Own a portfolio of healthcare provider customers and drive their retention, expansion, and success on the Candid platform.
• Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Dig into claims data to identify why denials are happening, locate revenue leaks, and build then execute action plans for improvement.
• Implementation Leadership: Lead end-to-end implementations for new customers, including workflow mapping, platform configuration, and cross-team coordination to get them live.
• Product & Automation Partnership: Partner with Product and Forward Deployed Engineering to translate recurring customer problems into new product features, workflow automations, and AI agents.
• Process Building & Scaling: Build and document processes that currently don’t exist, such as SOPs, templates, playbooks, and systems, to enable the team to scale effectively.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduating Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 (or recently graduated) with a Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate program.
• Experience: A proven track record of owning outcomes, not just completing assignments, across internships, research, clubs, athletics, or personal ventures, demonstrating grit in demanding situations.
• Skills: Analytical with excitement for drawing insights from data; a builder who instinctively fixes broken systems; clear and concise communicator in all formats; coachable with a proactive approach to feedback; comfortable using AI tools to enhance speed and productivity.
• Bonus: Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required, with curiosity and a strong drive to learn being paramount.
