The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• GIPS Verification: Manage and ensure the successful completion of the International GIPS Firm’s annual verification process.
• Composite Management: Construct, meticulously maintain, and govern GIPS composites in strict accordance with GIPS standards, covering institutional accounts and various retail products.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Portfolio Managers, Investment Specialists, and Client Reporting, serving as the primary GIPS Subject Matter Expert.
• Performance Reporting: Produce and deliver comprehensive GIPS Reports on both recurring and ad-hoc bases, ensuring the completeness of benchmarks, composite details, and all required disclosures.
• Risk Calculation: Perform accurate account-level and composite-level performance and ex post risk calculations, utilizing appropriate methodologies for performance reporting, including measures like volatility and tracking error.
• Process Improvement: Analyze business processes end-to-end to identify operational risks, gaps, and inefficiencies, then recommend and implement effective process improvements and innovative solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate degree in finance, economics, actuarial science, business management, or a related field, combined with relevant senior-level experience in financial services, specifically focusing on GIPS composite creation, maintenance, and implementation.
• Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience with GIPS composite creation, maintenance, and implementation, including managing multi-asset composite performance workloads. This requires proficiency with handling large datasets, MS Excel, and experience with Python/SQL programming, alongside tools such as Alteryx or Tableau.
• Skills: Strong performance analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to articulate GIPS rules to non-experts, and the capability to work independently while supporting less experienced team members.
• Bonus: Progress towards an advanced degree or certifications like CIPM is advantageous, as is practical experience utilizing AI/LLMs to achieve business objectives.
