• Mission: Lead and strengthen Business Continuity Management across the Oceania region to provide strategic oversight, challenge, and assurance over resilience capabilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead BCM Framework: Lead and enhance the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework across the Oceania region.
• Coordinate Resilience Activities: Plan and coordinate BCM activities, including business continuity testing, crisis management exercises, and disaster recovery programs.
• Provide Second Line Oversight: Provide second line of defense oversight, challenge, and advisory support on business continuity, operational resilience, technology resilience, and third-party risk matters.
• Assess and Mitigate Disruption Risks: Conduct risk assessments, scenario analysis, and assurance reviews to identify and mitigate disruption risks to critical business operations.
• Ensure Governance and Preparedness: Maintain BCM governance documentation, deliver BCM training and awareness programs, and support crisis management preparedness across the organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Seasoned banking professional with deep BCM expertise and exposure to non-financial risk management within a highly regulated environment.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of Business Continuity Management experience within the banking or financial services industry, including strong experience in a regulated banking environment, crisis management, disaster recovery planning, operational resilience frameworks, and regulatory assurance programs; proven experience providing independent oversight or second line of defense challenge and assurance.
• Skills: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, strong analytical, communication, and reporting capabilities, proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a complex environment, and advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, professional certifications in BCM, Operational Risk, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
