The Tone:
This is an internship at Vintners Distributors, located in Union City, CA. The company is the corporate arm overseeing West Coast Convenience, Eaton Foods, Eatswell, and Prohas Enterprises, with a portfolio that includes Loop Neighborhood Market and other brands. It operates a growing network of convenience stores, fuel stations, and car washes across California, developing real estate and owning its locations. This role offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic support, helping the Finance Department with analytical, reporting, and operational functions in a multi-brand retail and operations environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Modeling: Model finances, forecast performance, and analyze variances.
• Reporting: Support month-end close processes by reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
• Research: Conduct research and compile data to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and validate financial assumptions.
• Presentation: Prepare presentations, dashboards, and summaries for leadership review.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s Degree (MBA) – currently enrolled or graduated in Summer 2026.
• Experience: Not specified, but applying MBA-level concepts in a retail and operations setting.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, and clear communication of financial insights.
• Bonus: Coursework or prior experience in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields, and familiarity with financial systems or business intelligence tools.
