Management Trainee – Washington State | Hajoca Corporation

The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career role at Hajoca Corporation, located in various locations across Washington State. Hajoca is a long-standing organization focused on the distribution of plumbing, heating, and industrial supplies. This role is crucial for developing future world-class leaders who will eventually run their own business units as Profit Center Managers, embodying an entrepreneurial spirit within a large, supportive company structure.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Expertise: Learn every aspect of the distribution of plumbing, heating, and industrial supplies through a rigorous three-year rotational program.
• Rotate Through Functions: Engage in a comprehensive program, rotating through various job functions in all parts of the business.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with dedicated team members on tasks ranging from stocking warehouses to computing financial statements and generating new business.
• Lead a Business Unit: (Long-term) Make independent decisions as a Profit Center Manager, including who to hire, what products to sell and for how much.
• Drive Customer Engagement: Strategize and execute sales and marketing initiatives to better engage customers and grow the business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree with a solid GPA. This is an entry-level career opportunity focused on business leadership and distribution management.
• Experience: Entry-level professional experience, with a specific preference for experience in people or project supervision, sales, operations, and/or customer service.
• Skills: A strong desire to lead a team and run your own business; the ability to perform a wide range of tasks; an equal blend of interpersonal and critical-thinking skills; demonstrated leadership in professional, educational, and/or social experiences.
• Bonus: Entry-level work experience in people or project supervision, sales, operations, and/or customer service.
