What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Management: Handle the financial functions associated with the business acquisition process (proposals) and program execution processes.
• Invoice Management: Set up, validate, and generate complex invoices for various customers, ensuring timely processing per the terms and conditions of the contract.
• Financial Reconciliation: Perform required invoice and account receivable reconciliations to maintain billing accuracy.
• Stakeholder Support: Act as a daily customer interface, provide billing guidance to Contracts and Program Finance, and support the cash application process through research and reconciliation.
• Process Improvement: Support internal and external audits, and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an Entry-Level internship requiring the pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree. Candidates must be enrolled in a Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required, as this role is designed for a student actively pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Knowledge of cost/schedule development, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, financial modeling, corporate forecasting, and/or business acquisitions. Familiarity with contract compliance and negotiation. Experience with customer and/or management reporting.
