What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Completion: Complete special projects as directed by an Assignment Leader.
• Financial Reporting: Build, analyze, and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Forecasting & Budgeting: Provide analysis for the monthly forecasting process and support the annual budgeting process.
• Variance Analysis: Perform financial variance analysis to identify trends within the business.
• Accounting Operations: Accurately maintain accounting records, prepare daily entries, monitor accounts, maintain balances, and facilitate compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Executive Presentation: Present your overall internship experience, key concepts learned, and an overview of each project to the senior leadership team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position for students currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing an Accounting degree, specifically as a rising senior.
• Experience: Basic Excel proficiency, including data entry, formatting, charts, basic formulas, and Vlookup.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to communicate financial information, and capability to complete both guided and self-directed learning activities.
• Bonus: Campus involvement/leadership experience and relevant internship/co-op experience are preferred.
