Material Planner | Alstom

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Alstom, located in Bursa. Alstom builds high-speed trains, metros, monorails, trams, and offers complete transport systems, services, infrastructure, and digital mobility solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless delivery of materials, directly contributing to the success of our projects and the overall efficiency of our supply chain in connecting cities and promoting greener mobility.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Needs Management: Express delivery needs using dedicated tools.
• Performance Improvement: Monitor and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Risk Analysis: Analyze supplier confirmations versus Alstom needs and evaluate potential risks and impacts.
• Recovery Actions: Identify and implement recovery actions for supply chain risks.
• Problem Prevention: Manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply problems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Degree in Business Administration or Engineering, with core domain knowledge in material planning, production planning, and supply chain concepts.
• Experience: At least 3 years experience in Material Planning or Production Planning, including experience with ERP systems.
• Skills: Knowledge of materials requirements planning, supplier delivery performance management, and inventory management techniques. Proficiency in English and native in Turkish, coupled with agility in problem-solving.
