Corrugated Business Associate (Sales) | Packaging Corporation of America
The Tone:
This is an early career position at Packaging Corporation of America, located in Denver, CO. This role is crucial as it’s part of the Generational Investment for Tomorrow (GIFT) Program, designed to develop recent college graduates into well-rounded employees and future sales leaders within the company. It offers a comprehensive rotational training experience across various key departments in the corrugated packaging industry.

• Mission: To develop into a well-rounded employee and future sales leader in the corrugated packaging industry through a comprehensive rotational training program.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Engagement: Work closely and communicate often with an assigned GIFT Mentor to stay on track and reinforce the goals of the role.
• Rotational Learning: Rotate through the four main departments at a corrugated plant: Design, Production, Customer Service, and Sales.
• Project Execution: Complete any assignments or projects in the given department under the instruction of the department supervisor.
• Process Improvement: Identify issues and areas for improvement, then present findings and possible solutions to the department supervisor and GIFT Mentor.
• Professional Development: Attend and participate in the GIFT program training conferences, collaborating with other Corrugated Business Associates on projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree required upon starting, entry-level position for recent college graduates.
• Experience: Must obtain a Bachelor’s degree between December 2026 and May 2027 and be able to start the position between May 2027 and July 2027.
• Skills: Ability to learn quickly and put new knowledge into practice, strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership experience or strong leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills for networking and relationship building, quick and concise decision and problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of teamwork and open communication.
• Bonus: A minimum of one Internship or Co-op, especially in an environment related to the GIFT position type, is preferred. Obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field is also preferred.
