What You’ll Actually Do
• Control Evaluation: Evaluate client internal accounting controls.
• Compliance Testing: Conduct compliance tests for internal controls when deemed reliable.
• Financial Reporting: Draft financial statements adhering to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Account Reconciliation: Review client bank and subsidiary account reconciliations, investigating discrepancies.
• Expense Documentation: Compile schedules for accruals and prepaid expenses, documenting underlying support.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a college degree with a major or concentration in accounting.
• Experience: Entry-level professional with the ability to arrange own housing and transportation; willingness to undertake necessary overnight travel.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards, working knowledge of federal and state income tax laws, and a practice of accuracy in handling information.
