Management Advancement Program | Belmont Village Senior Living
The Tone:
This is an early career program at Belmont Village Senior Living, located in Houston, Greater Miami-Dade, Los Angeles, and Greater San Diego. Belmont Village Senior Living develops, owns, and operates over 30 senior living communities across the U.S. and Mexico, providing housing, services, and personal care. This role is a highly selective, accelerated path designed to transition high-potential graduates into management within the growing senior care industry, cultivating “home-grown” leaders committed to both hospitality and healthcare excellence.
The TL;DR

• Team: Reports to dedicated preceptors and receives mentorship from department heads.
• Mission: To train and develop recent graduates into management-ready professionals capable of leading operations within Belmont Village Senior Living communities.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Foundation Building: Build a broad operational foundation through an 8-week rotational externship, gaining exposure to every key department within senior living communities.
• Operational Exposure: Experience hands-on operations ranging from luxury culinary services to research-based memory care programming.
• Leadership Practicum: Participate in a 4-month Operations Fellowship, specializing in a leadership track such as Sales, Business Office Management/HR, or Resident Enrichment.
• Mentorship & Development: Receive dedicated mentorship from department heads to develop core competencies and leadership skills.
• Career Progression: Become eligible for the specialized Management-in-Training (MIT) track, direct placement to a Community Management role, or other available positions upon successful completion of the 6-month program.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree graduate with strong business acumen and a commitment to service; relevant majors include Human Services (Gerontology, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology), Business (Finance, Accounting, Sales & Marketing), Healthcare or Hospitality Management, Therapeutic Recreation, Human Resources, Education, or Nursing.
• Experience: Entry-Level (recent graduate) seeking an accelerated path to leadership.
• Skills: Team-oriented collaboration, empathy for creating a warm and dignified environment, analytical mindset to drive a multi-million dollar business, ability to balance high-touch hospitality with innovative, evidence-based operations, and strong problem-solving capabilities while leading with purpose.
