Technology Leadership Program – Technology Operations (NC) | Vanguard

The Tone:
This is a two-year rotational program at Vanguard, located in North Carolina, operating on a hybrid model. This program is designed to develop individuals interested in pursuing a career in Information Technology, providing participants with a broad technical foundation, leadership capabilities, and strong business acumen.

• Mission: To develop individuals for a career in Information Technology by building a broad technical foundation and leadership skills through targeted training and rotational assignments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotational Objectives: Assimilate into various IT business areas, understand assignment objectives, and achieve goals while demonstrating ownership and accountability for all projects.
• Skill Application: Apply learned skills and technical knowledge during three, eight-month rotational assignments within either Application Development or Technology Operations.
• Professional Development: Drive personal and professional growth through active participation in program meetings and projects, attending all required training, and maintaining a personal development plan.
• Organizational Navigation: Build a comprehensive network of business contacts across the organization to facilitate task completion and leverage support for assignments.
• Project Participation: Engage in projects by collaborating with stakeholders to determine scope, gather requirements, analyze data, recommend and implement solutions, and manage necessary business activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate or Graduate degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical/engineering discipline.
• Experience: No specific years required for this program.
• Skills: Problem resolution and accountability, data arrangement and presentation, project management and stakeholder collaboration, technical knowledge application, and business acumen related to investment methodology.
• Bonus: Experience in information technology is preferred.
