This role is crucial for delivering robust analytics solutions and maintaining essential reporting infrastructure, directly supporting both operational efficiency and executive decision-making.

• Mission: Support SSAS-based analytics solutions, maintain Power BI frontend dashboards, and contribute to the design, delivery, and operation of data and reporting platforms.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support SSAS Solutions: Provide backend support for SSAS solutions, managing model design, deployment support, environment migration, performance monitoring, and production issue resolution.
• Develop Power BI Dashboards: Design and maintain Power BI frontend dashboards, including enterprise operational and executive-level reports for clear KPI visualization and business performance tracking.
• Facilitate Solution Delivery: Collaborate with architecture, development, data providers, data consumers, and business stakeholders to support solution design, issue resolution, and successful delivery.
• Gather and Document Requirements: Contribute to use case development, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions, then document technical specifications, functional/non-functional requirements, solution designs, and operational procedures.
• Analyze and Integrate Data: Evaluate new data sources using a structured data quality approach, assess their impact on existing pipelines and SSAS models, and bridge business requirements with ETL/SSAS logic by troubleshooting data discrepancies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in BI solutions, data engineering, or analytics platform projects, with a strong technical understanding of data quality metrics, data modelling, architecture principles, and design techniques across master and transaction data. At least 2 years of SQL Server development experience, including stored procedures, DDL, and DML.
• Skills: Strong experience in Power BI frontend development (data/report/service objects, report lifecycle management), data processing, data modelling, semantic model design (star/snowflake schema), and SSAS solution support (backend architecture, deployment, environment management, production support).
• Bonus: Professional certifications related to Power BI, SSAS, SQL Server, data engineering, BI development, or project delivery. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). Drives excellence through ownership and continuous improvement, proactive, detail-oriented, strong in problem-solving, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
