Manager, Human Resources Advisors | Graybar

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and provide project management support for a team of HR Advisors.
• HR Strategy Oversight: Oversee HR Advisor implementation of Company-wide HR strategies that support successful business outcomes and direct change management efforts.
• Employee Relations Support: Serve as second-level support to provide human resources guidance and counseling to managers and/or employees on the effective application of HR policies and procedures.
• Compliance & Investigations: Conduct investigations as needed, ensuring timely completion of all reviews of employee, management, or third-party concerns, and verify compliance with employment and labor regulations.
• Advisor Development: Implement career planning, training, and development plans for HR Advisors, including onboarding and continuous education on local, state, and federal law changes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Human Resources, or a related field, with experience in managing human resources functions.
• Experience: 10+ years of Human Resources experience in a large organization with complex systems and multi-site responsibilities, including supervisory experience.
• Skills: Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; and the ability to coach and counsel all levels of employees through complicated legal and employee relations issues.
• Bonus: HR certification.
