Labor Relations Supervisor | Electrolux

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Electrolux, located in Chihuahua, Mexico. Electrolux manufactures various home appliances, and this position plays a critical part in ensuring a productive and harmonious work environment for hourly and technician employees. The role focuses on fostering employee satisfaction, maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies, and resolving workplace issues to support overall business objectives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Employee Relations: Maintain consistent contact with hourly employees to understand and respond effectively and timely to their issues and concerns.
• Policy & Compliance: Suggest and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs efficiently while ensuring compliance with labor legislation, agreements, and Electrolux’s Code of Conduct.
• Conflict Resolution: Lead negotiation processes to resolve disputes between employees, supervisors, and the business, working towards positive and productive outcomes.
• Operational Support: Administrate the strategic, technical, and administrative functions related to third-party vendors for cafeteria, transportation, and medical services.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in and support organizational initiatives, including ISO, Safety, and EMS, and contribute to cross-functional teams focused on continuous improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Over 5 years of experience working specifically in labor relations and human resources within a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Fluent verbal communication in both Spanish and English (80% proficiency), strong knowledge of labor relations legal frameworks, and proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Bonus: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TRESS), knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 auditing, and experience with employee surveys or official agreements coordination.
