What You’ll Actually Do
• Application Management: Support, enhance, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications to ensure system stability and business alignment.
• Customization & Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle EBS customizations, extensions, and interfaces with third-party applications.
• Reporting & Optimization: Create and maintain comprehensive reports using tools like BI Publisher and Oracle Reports, while optimizing application performance through code reviews.
• Issue Resolution & Standards: Troubleshoot production issues, provide timely resolutions, and prepare technical design documents adhering to development standards.
• Collaboration & Deployment: Collaborate with functional and business users to gather requirements and participate in system upgrades, patching, and release deployments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with strong functional knowledge of OM modules, preferably holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 10–12 years of overall experience, with at least 7+ years in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/R12.2) development, including developing interfaces using APIs, Open Interface Tables, and Web Services.
• Skills: Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, performance tuning, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), Oracle Workflow, Oracle Alerts, Oracle Concurrent Program, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) customization.
• Bonus: Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), integrating Oracle EBS with cloud applications, exposure to higher education or university environments, and Oracle EBS certifications are desirable.
