Sr. Manager, People Analytics | Levi Strauss & Co.
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Levi Strauss & Co., located in India. The company is building its People Analytics function from the ground up, focused on evolving it from reporting and dashboards to a modern, AI-enabled function. This role is pivotal for providing HR and business leaders with real answers, leveraging data and artificial intelligence. The individual will lead the next chapter of this global function.

• Team: Manages a Senior Analyst-People Analytics, with expectations for team growth.
• Mission: To lead the evolution of People Analytics into an AI-enabled function that provides real answers to HR and business leaders.
• Tech Stack: Power BI, Python/R, Workday, GenAI tools, AI-enabled platforms.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Leadership: Define and evolve a people analytics vision and roadmap, translating business and HR priorities into a realistic, sequenced analytics roadmap.
• AI Innovation: Identify and pilot GenAI tools for self-service insights, natural-language querying, and automated narrative reporting, introducing predictive analytics as data foundations mature.
• Technology & Improvement: Shape and evolve the people analytics technology ecosystem, partnering with IT/Digital teams and continuously enhancing reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Data Storytelling: Personally design and build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and Python/R across multiple data sources, turning complex data into compelling narratives.
• Data Management: Lead people data management in a global Workday environment, establishing data governance, standardized processes, and ensuring data integrity and compliance.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level professional with 7+ years in people analytics, workforce analytics, or data analytics, including experience leading or building a function.
• Experience: Direct experience introducing GenAI or AI-assisted tools into an analytics function, and experience with Workday or similar HCM systems in a large, global organization.
• Skills: Strong hands-on skill building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Python/R, solid grounding in data governance and responsible/ethical AI use, and demonstrated ability to connect data and AI-driven insights to business outcomes.
• Bonus: Proven change management skills, people management experience or clear readiness to manage a small team, and experience working effectively with global, distributed stakeholders across time zones.
