What You’ll Actually Do
• Bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and general accounting functions.
• Accounts Management: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including monitoring incoming receivables and following up as needed.
• Invoice Administration: Make administrative updates and corrections to invoices, such as client names, subsidiary information, and addresses.
• Financial Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations and prepare and post journal entries.
• Payment Processing: Process recurring and one-time payments electronically and support weekly payment processing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Level career experience with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits.
• Experience: 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred; experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR processes, prepaids, and deferred expenses/revenue.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Bonus: Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a small team.
