Human Resources Management Development Associate | Nestlé Purina North America
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Nestlé Purina North America, located initially in Crete, NE, with required relocation across the U.S. The company operates as a leading pet food manufacturer, focused on enriching the lives of pets everywhere and reshaping the larger pet care category. This role is crucial for fast-tracking future Human Resources leaders within the manufacturing side of the business, providing a path for continuous learning and growth while supporting collaborative human resource management across various operational areas.

• Mission: To develop future Human Resources leaders on the manufacturing side of the business by providing rotational experience in HR functions and broader operational understanding.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Communication: Maintain communication with the Plant Manager, Department Managers, and Team Leaders on all matters affecting factory employees.
• Program Support: Assist with the implementation of employee services, policies, training, and programs across the factory.
• Training Coordination: Support training and learning initiatives for safety, capital projects, special projects, and technical and functional development.
• Benefits Administration: Coordinate employees’ leave, return-to-work processes (FMLA, worker’s comp), paid time off, and benefits.
• Compliance Enforcement: Adhere to and enforce compliance with local, state, and federal legislation related to HR policies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline, attained or expected by June 2027.
• Experience: Must be open to relocation to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 manufacturing sites across the U.S. as part of the Management Development Associate program.
• Skills: Ability to support HR policy implementation, understanding of compliance requirements for local, state, and federal HR legislation, and strong employee customer service skills.
• Bonus: Prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience; involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience.
