Bookkeeping Assistant | Law Firm

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Operations Assistance: Assist with daily accounting and administrative tasks to support the firm’s financial functions.
• Expense Processing: Accurately prepare checks and process all expense data for the firm.
• Accuracy Verification: Review and validate expenses diligently to ensure their precision and adherence to standards.
• Record Keeping: Maintain highly organized and comprehensive financial records.
• Reconciliation and Tracking: Reconcile and track expenses as necessary, ensuring financial consistency and clarity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an Entry-Level professional role, requiring foundational knowledge in core bookkeeping principles and effective financial record management. Candidates should be comfortable and adept at working with various numbers and financial information.
• Experience: Previous experience in a bookkeeper role is a required qualification.
• Skills: Demonstrates strong, unwavering attention to detail and a high commitment to accuracy in all tasks. Must be highly organized, thoroughly dependable, and adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently. The role demands excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor, alongside a proactive willingness to continuously learn and grow.
• Bonus: Specific experience working within a personal injury law firm environment is considered a distinct advantage. Additionally, prior experience in legal accounting or any administrative capacity within a law firm is strongly preferred.
