• Pay: $71041–$146260 yearly
• Team: Revenue Assurance team, reports to the Revenue Operations Manager, collaborates with other revenue accountants and cross-functional partners.
• Mission: Ensure accurate revenue accounting and compliance with US GAAP and internal controls for Pinterest’s global business.
• Tech Stack: Salesforce.com, Ads Manager, Netsuite, Oracle, Datahub/SQL, Excel.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contract Review & OTC Leadership: Work closely with Sales Coordinators to approve Insertion Orders and contracts, assisting in leading Order-to-Cash (OTC) projects.
• Revenue Close Management: Help with monthly revenue close processes, including preparing deferred revenue entries, revenue reporting, and reconciliations.
• Audit & SOX Compliance: Satisfy quarterly and annual audit requirements and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance for revenue accounting.
• System Integration & Enhancement: Assist with integrating subsidiary CRM/ERP tools and testing systems to streamline revenue tasks and processes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, sales, and business operations to build efficient end-to-end OTC workflows and troubleshoot system issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 4-6 years of experience in accounting, with deep knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition guidance (ASC 606), and experience analyzing high-volume, multi-currency transactions in a global business environment.
• Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency, experience with NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce.com, and Datahub/SQL, strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills, and the ability to identify, design, and implement internal controls.
• Bonus: CPA preferred, Big 4 firm experience combined with industry experience preferred.
