The Tone:
This is a full-time role at ENFRA, requiring up to 5% travel to job sites or office locations. This Accountant Sustainability position supports the financial backbone of our operations by managing general accounting and job cost activities. This role is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy and contributing to the sustained growth and stability of the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage General Ledger: Oversee general cost accounting, including data and journal entries, to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare Financial Statements: Develop monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Reconcile Accounts: Perform monthly bank and customer account reconciliations, verifying deposits and resolving bank inquiries.
• Process Accounts Payable: Verify invoice payments and ensure proper allocation to respective accounts.
• Administer Key Documents: Manage credit applications, contracts, performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates, and licenses.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; foundational knowledge of general financial accounting and GAAP principles.
• Experience: 0-5 years of experience in an accounting role; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication, and an ability to multitask in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the energy industry and company competitors.
