What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Respond to requests from both clients and firm associates in a timely, accurate, positive, and professional manner, fostering strong relationships.
• Information Acquisition: Work actively with clients to address inquiries and gather all necessary information required for the accurate completion of various documents and reports.
• Data-Driven Insights: Apply data analysis skills to discover useful information and identify patterns, providing critical support in developing and presenting recommendations.
• Process Optimization: Proactively identify and propose improvement opportunities within existing processes to significantly enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Specialized Engagement Work: Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections according to firm standards, or perform comprehensive audit, review, and compliance testing procedures as directed by engagement leaders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, with required completion of a corporate or individual taxation class.
• Experience: Demonstrated above-average competency in accounting through college GPA of a minimum 3.2. Working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
• Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and staff, ability to prioritize work and follow through on requests, capacity for independent thinking and good decision-making based on education and experience.
• Bonus: Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
