Finance Student Program – Corporate | Stellantis
The Tone:
This is a year-round student program at Stellantis, offering in-person, hybrid, or remote work options within the United States. This program allows students to deeply integrate into teams, progressively take on greater responsibility, and make meaningful contributions throughout their academic journey.
The TL;DR
• Role: Student Program
• Type: Part-time (24 hours/week, up to 40 in summer)
• Location: Hybrid, Auburn Hills, MI (with remote options in the US)
• Team: Corporate Finance division
• Mission: To provide essential accounting or finance support to operating and finance teams, contributing to daily activities and strategic projects to achieve business results.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide accounting or finance support to various operating and finance teams across the organization.
• Operations: Assist with monthly close or forecast activities as required by the assigned finance department.
• Compliance: Ensure maintenance of compliance with internal controls within your specific area of responsibility.
• Analysis: Perform detailed analyses, generate reports, and conduct studies as requested by the team.
• Improvement: Drive continuous process improvements and manage projects within the finance department.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an entry-level capacity.
• Experience: Ability to work 24 hours per week on a year-round basis during normal business hours.
• Skills: Good working knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and techniques, along with high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required.
• Bonus: Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline. Currently a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior at the time of hire. Previous internship or accounting/finance related work experience. Strong interest in the automotive industry and new technologies. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organization levels and with external partners. Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment. Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations.
