• Mission: Help organizations move beyond basic compliance toward resilient, high-performing EHS programs and lead EHS-focused due diligence and integration efforts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead and deliver EHS compliance and management system projects that reduce risk and strengthen regulatory performance for clients.
• Execute EHS due diligence for transactions, including multi-site portfolios, identifying material risks, liabilities, and compliance gaps.
• Advise legal, corporate, and private equity clients on EHS risks, liabilities, opportunities, and post-close integration strategies.
• Build and strengthen client relationships, support business development efforts, and contribute to regional growth through proposals and client discussions.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, delegate effectively, and foster collaborative team performance to elevate EHS programs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, safety, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with core domain knowledge in EHS compliance, management systems, sustainability programs, and/or transaction advisory.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in EHS compliance, management systems, sustainability programs, and/or transaction advisory, including proven project management skills and demonstrated leadership ability. Ability to travel up to 30% domestically is required.
• Skills: Working knowledge of ASTM Phase I ESA standards and core business/legal concepts of transactions; strong technical expertise in environmental and/or safety disciplines (e.g., air quality, stormwater, SPCC, hazardous waste); excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports and deliverables; highly organized and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: 7+ years of relevant experience, including consulting background; advanced degree (e.g., MS, MPH); professional certifications (e.g., CSP, PE, CHMM); experience developing corporate EHS management systems and maintaining compliance standards; proven success in business development, proposal writing, and client growth.
