The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Siemens Energy, supporting the Gas Services North America Open Market Parts organization. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Perform financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and detailed financial analysis to provide meaningful insights into revenue and margin performance.
• Month-End Activities: Manage month-end and quarterly financial tasks, including revenue recognition, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports using SAP, providing variance analysis to leadership and supporting external audit requirements.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Parts & Repairs leadership and cross-functional teams to offer financial guidance, improve operational performance, and support strategic initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency through technology and best practices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting principles, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and construction accounting concepts.
• Experience: 2–5 years in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or a related corporate finance role, with experience utilizing SAP and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Bonus: Experience with analytical and visualization tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
