The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Regions Bank, located in Birmingham, Alabama, as part of the Finance Development Program (FDP). At Regions, the FDP Analyst program is a two-year rotational program focused on developing an associate talent pool exposed to multiple areas throughout Finance. Regions aims to offer performance-driven individuals a place to build a career with more opportunities, fostering financial analysis and leadership skills. This program allows high-performing associates to progress through four six-month rotational assignments within the Finance organization, developing foundational knowledge and critical technical skills for long-term success with the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Contribute to the formation of financial risk-management-style reporting and analysis.
• Accounting: Research, prepare, and apply corporate accounting principles.
• Forecasting: Participate in forecasting revenue and expenses, and analyze financial results.
• Analysis: Create pertinent reporting and perform ad hoc business/product analysis.
• Interaction: Interact with middle and senior management across multiple bank business units.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, requiring a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Expected graduation of December 2026 or May/June 2027. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, as Regions will not sponsor work visas for this position.
• Skills: Possess business acumen, critical thinking, leadership, strong academic capabilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and technical proficiency.
• Bonus: A minimum overall GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
